FAQs

Inquiring minds want to know.

What do you do?

I design apps and websites in Figma, and then build them in Webflow for individuals, startups, and companies.  I want to make your company’s assets shine with a meaningful online presence that has unique imagery and excellent copy.

I'm also a voracious reader, a feeder of stray cats, science-fiction geek, baker, yogini, and a certified astrologer.

What are your qualifications?

I'm certified in Design Thinking, UX/UI Design and Webflow, and have decades of experience collaborating multi-culturally and multi-lingually in various groups, locally and remotely.

I’m a seasoned professional with experience in many diverse professional environments, from large corporations to startups. I have experience pulling off big projects with very little assistance, but I prefer to collaborate as more input yields greater results.

How does your process work?

First, we have a chat and discuss the ideas for your project. If we mutually decide the collaboration would be fruitful, I will ask about your business, your clients, and your current website. Additionally, I will ask about your brand and esthetic so I can get a sense of what kind of look and feel you want for the site.

You can expect at least one check-in meeting per week as I like to keep communication open and my clients up-to-date on my progress.

At the initiation of Phase 1 of the project, and after some exploratory research on my end, I will make some wireframes from which you will choose the design direction. With your approval of the design  direction, I'll move forward with the design, choosing fonts and colors, and building out most or all  of the pages.

After integrating feedback and with your approval of the final design, I will begin Phase 2: building the site in Webflow.

After integration of any additional feedback, I will transfer ownership of the site to you (which includes a custom video that demonstrates how to keep the site up-to-date). It's my pleasure to ensure that you and your clients love your new website.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the design/build will vary depending on the number of pages, the integrations, the complexity of the animation, and whether or not you need or already have a CMS. (I use this to price my projects.)

25% is payable up front, 50% at the approval of the designs, and the remaining 25% is payable after your approval of the build. The final amount due must be paid before the transfer of ownership of the site.

These additional costs are inevitable if you are in the market for a website:

If you don't already have your unique URL, you will need to register and pay for one. I recommend GoDaddy for its seamless integration with Webflow.

Additionally, you will be required to subscribe to and pay for a hosting plan through Webflow. The cost of this depends on a number of factors, and is paid monthly or annually to Webflow.

things i think
, No-code is the future. Connection (to nature, animals, others, and ourselves) is the key to a long and happy life. Crochet is a thousand times easier than knitting. Kindness can facilitate change. What if humanity is doomed if we don’t use AI to help save Earth and ourselves from destruction? The result you are seeking lies in the work you are avoiding. Young Frankenstein is the greatest movie ever made. More people should know of Gilda Radner. Consciousness is a property of matter. Love is love
